Facility-based users of Advanced Healing System’s Wound Care Formulary have primarily come from the long-term care segment of the health care industry.  AHS consistently receives feedback from participating facilities indicating that even after including costs of the system, their overall budget for wounds has decreased from the year before the program to the year post-program implementation.

Wound Case Studies

In the course of working with individuals and client facilities, AHS expects that resolution will occur to wounds that were not previously expected to improve.  Over the years the expert application of AHS' Wound Care Formulary by participating individuals and practitioners has prevented numerous amputations that had been scheduled or recommended and has even resolved wounds that might otherwise have been fatal to the individual with the wound.  Case studies highlighted in this section are a tiny fraction of the total number of wounds for which healing was facilitated by using AHS' Wound Care Formulary.
