Advanced Healing Institute has created a HIPAA-compliant Wound Data Portal that documents and reports wound data and outcomes for all the patients and wounds being treated with the TRUHEAL Wound Program. In the Wound Data Portal, clinicians can:

  • Add patients.
  • Follow patients with multiple wounds.
  • Document wound resolution through measurements, descriptions, and photographs.
  • Report, defend and compare outcomes.

Advanced Healing Institute strongly recommends that TRUHEAL Wound Program adopters use the capability of the Wound Data Portal, which provides for ongoing photo documentation of wound status / progress. Consistent photographic documentation of wounds from inception through healing adds to the clinical record and helps patients and providers understand wound etiology and appropriate healing processes. A centralized photographic record also enhances information sharing among relevant providers, reducing the potential for conflicting diagnoses or prescriptions and reducing the time required for coordination of care.
