Because of the reports that AHS has received from its client partners, detailing improved results on state surveys, improved rates of healing, and reduced overall costs for wound care (even after the costs of AHS’ Formulary have been accounted for), Advanced Healing Systems developed a wound cost calculator that is designed to model the expected experience of a client partner in the Long Term Care segment of the health care industry. Interactions with our active customers indicate that facility administrators agree with the assumptions and outcomes shown by the wound cost calculator.

We are also currently working with two of our facility partners to document specific changes to their facility purchasing patterns and budgets and which will be posted here upon completion.

Because it sometimes takes culture changes and increased management attention to a wound care program to ensure its complete adoption into a facility results may vary.
